Starting Sept 21st 2016 and taking place most Wednesday evenings 19h to 20h everyone welcome.
These are meditation sessions designed to introduce you to mindfulness or to support you in your existing practice. There will be a theme for the evening and a short piece of mindfulness teaching followed by 35 mins of guided sitting meditation. We finish with group sharing for those who wish and a suggestion for meditation at home in the week that follows.
Please bring a cushion, a shawl and a yoga mat. For those who prefer a chair, we have plenty ! Sitting in a chair is a sensible way to start and you are invited to lie down if you need to ( hence the yoga mat) so no need to sit crossed legged or suffer discomfort.
You are invited to arrive before 18h55, the session starts promptly at 19h and then doors will close, so no further entry after 19h05
There is limited street parking nearby, some people choose to park at the station and walk up, or come by train.
This is a friendly meeting run by experienced teachers whose goal is to make mindfulness meditation accessible to those needing more focus or calm in their lives.
