The Mindful Selfie

Keep up a regular meditation practice and life can be one long mindful selfie of being in the present moment.
Rather than taking a photo so that you can enjoy the view or the moment later on, enjoy it NOW.
Take a pause, connect with the light, the temperature, the emotions and thoughts of the moment. Then, if you want to, take a photo and when you look back at the image you will really remember BEING there.
It doesn’t take much extra time to BE there, but we have to remember to do it. The more formal practice we do the more it comes easily.
Don’t skip the practice !
