Garden Mindfulness and Chill Out
These afternoons of relaxed “me time” are hosted mostly by Mindfulness graduates and guided by Alison. There is a pool unless stated otherwise. It is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with your practice and with other practitioners in a relaxed and enjoyable way. Bring your journal or inspirational book and between the guided sections do your own meditation, writing or reading, or just being!
This is the Garden Mindfulness Format:
12h to 13h An hour of introductions, a guided meditation ( sitting or lying down) and sharing on the theme of the day.
13h to 16h Silent time to meditate, eat your picnic mindfully, journal, sleep, swim, sketch, read relevant inspiring material and “Be”.
16h to 18h Time together to do a closing circle and a guided Loving Kindness Meditation with sharing and tea.
Bring your picnic, water, sun protection (there will be shade), bathing suit, a mat to relax on and a cushion to “sit”. Basically anything that will make for a comfortable experience outdoors. Recorded meditations on your phone can be useful as long as the phone is on airplane mode !
